Federal High court sacks some House of Representatives members from Enugu

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, has ordered some House of Representatives members from Enugu State, Stella Ngwu from Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency and Hon. Dennis Nnmachi Agbo from Igbo-Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency to vacate their seats immediately. The court gave the ruling following a petition from their political rivals.

The Jigawa state multi million Naira Hadejia Sugar Factory will commence full operations in 2015 and it will employ about 3,256  indigenes of Hadejia emirate. The company’s Director of Engineers, Malam Umar Sanda stated this while conducting newsmen round the  sugar factory premises, said the decision of the family to take over the company was aimed at providing employment opportunity to the teeming indigenes of Hadejia emirate and Jigawa state in general. He however stated that the family of the Late Abacha  will purchase of new equipments to enable them commence operation soonest, adding that the management of Hadejia River Bsin Development Authority has also  pledged to provide 4,000 hectares of land for the production of sugarcane that will be used in for the production of sugar.
